I come from humble beginnings, having grown up on a farm in northeast Texas. Alongside my four siblings, I spent my summers operating farm equipment, mending fences, renovating homes, welding, and tending to our animals and crops. Farm life with my family taught me the importance of teamwork, the value of getting your hands dirty, and the importance of a hard day’s work.

Following my upbringing, I pursued my education at West Point. I studied Political Science and Russian Language and dove into my interest in engineering by earning a minor in Nuclear Engineering. While serving n the Army, I was fortunate enough to attend graduate school and receive a Master’s in Finance from Harvard. Most recently, I earned a Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership, fulfilling a lifelong dream.

After West Point, I commissioned into the Army and led troops across Europe and the Middle East. Serving in Germany, I worked closely with Army tradesmen who focused on demolition, roadway construction, mechanical maintenance, and logistics. While serving in the Middle East, I supervised 40+ professionals focused on facility construction, automative repair, and international distribution. I still serve in the Army Reserve today and have been in uniform for nearly 15 years!

While serving on Active Duty, I co-founded a gas turbine engineering company, where I gained invaluable insights by owning the finance, legal, and human resources functions of the business. Our team grew the company to 40+ employees and over$24M in revenue. In addition to my CFO responsibilities, I gained experience ranging from procurement and shipping to project management and refurbishment of OEM parts.

After exiting my family owned business, I supported numerous startups in consulting and government services, while simultaneously serving in leadership roles at some of the largest global consulting firms. In the past few years, I have begun a new mission to acquire and operate world-class, phenomenal small businesses.
